In the midst of a global pandemic, now may be the time to extend empathy to those around you, and a webinar series through the Rock Ethics Institute at Penn State is helping others do just that.

Daryl Cameron, assistant professor of psychology and a research associate at the Rock Ethics Institute, organized the Expanding Empathy 2020 series, which features expert speakers in a series of virtual talks to discuss what they mean by the term empathy along with its uses and functions.

A key point of the series will be how to effectively cumulate empathy and use it to support public health during the era of COVID-19. The first episode of the series, Expanding Empathy Panel Discussion: Empathy in the Time of COVID-19, is now available, and the other webinars will be released shortly.
